ACEO cards are painted, inked, penciled, airbrushed, and even collaged. You can oout ACEO art on paper, wood, fabric, glass, metal, the possibilites are endless. Once you make one it is hard to stop at just one your only limit is your imagination.
 
One of the main rules is that it has to be 2.5 x 3.5 inches or 6.4 x 8.9 cms. The other main guideline is to keep in mind copyright laws and respect other people's images.

Make sure that the material that you use for color is acid free and is made of good quality so that the ACEO art card can last for a long time.

Themes or subject:
 
Anything can be put on an ACEO art card. From the horse you dreamed about owning when you were little to your family dog. The sunset at the beach, the light house down the road, that broken down barn on that lonely country road. Whacky people, whacky places, ony as far as your imagination can take you.
 

If you plan to sell your ACEO art work and you do use things to make it more 3D make sure you tell them in your description so the ACEO art collector will know how to store it. There some collectors out there who do not like their cards to be sealed, so offere sealing your card as an option or tell the collector that the card is already sealed. Always include your artist information with your card such as  your name, e-mail address, and website (if you have one).
